Recorded October 5 2012 at Donnie's Homespun Pizza in Springfield IL USA.
This gig was an absolute clusterfuck. the owner left early leaving the manager/sound engineer to run the evening into the ground, starting with blasting a one hour boombox recording of his crappy wannabe jazz fusion/jam band's last garage rehearsal over the PA while we were setting up, which pretty much drove out everyone who wasn't there specifically to see us.
The manager was so busy not being in the bar and being generally inattentive that we had monitor and PA problems which ate a huge chunk of time out of our collective show. But hey, he went to Berklee so the guy really knows what he's doing.
In addition, the kitchen closed before we even started and the whole time it was pretty obvious that the staff all just wanted to go home.
The best part, of course, is when the manager said "This place is expensive to run. We can't have bands in here like you guys that aren't drawing a lot of people."
yeah ... do that.
