I don't like being in St Louis. It reeks of disappointment and heartbreak, of emotional investments that never pay off and cripple you for years.

When she told me that the college she went to before UMSL was called "Jeffco", because everything in Jefferson County was called "Jeffco" this or that, I thought she was pulling my leg.

This party happened about ten or so miles from her parents house. Too much painful familiarity.

I enjoy playing music for the people at these parties, even when I don't like getting there.
